The Kingdom of Tonga is made up of 171 islands in an archipelago situated about a third of the way between New Zealand and Hawaii. As a constitutional monarchy, the country is unique in the Pacific. 

The Tonga Police Force has around 450 personnel, including firefighters and prison officers. They provide services to a national population of about 120,000 people.

Elements within the Tonga Police Force’s patch include a depiction of the sovereign’s crown surrounded by a wreath.
