Respecting Your Privacy
We are committed to protecting the private information that you provide us. We comply with relevant Australian privacy laws.

The Use of Your Personal Information
The information you provide is collected, stored and used in a manner consistent with, or directly related to, the reason you provided it (ie: to help us manage your subscription).

We will not use your personal information to market any third party product, apart from product advertisements that may appear within issues of the Australian Police Journal (APJ).

Marketing / Surveys
From time to time we may ask you to complete a survey in order for us to ensure that the APJ remains relevant and interesting. We will not use / provide / sell your information to anyone else to conduct surveys / marketing for any non APJ product.

Looking After Your Information
We take reasonable precautions to protect the security of your personal information against loss, unauthorised access, modification and unauthorised disclosure. Some of our measures include:

  • restricting access to personal information only to staff who need it to perform their duties;
  • using technology products to prevent unauthorised access or damage to records;
  • using physical security procedures for hardcopy information; and,
  • the occupancy of secured premises.

We keep our website secure with firewalls, encryption protocols and passwords. There is always the risk though of hacking on the internet.

Remember that routine/normal emails are not secure. We prefer you to provide your information through other more secure means such as the encrypted subscription page, or through telephone contact, the post or fax.

Access and Changes
Please advise us at any time your personal details change.

The Australian Police Journal Limited is not responsible for how those sites are managed.
