AFP Commissioner National Press Club Address

Reece P Kershaw APM was appointed as the eighth AFP Commissioner on 2 October 2019. Prior to that Commissioner Kershaw spent five years as Northern Territory Police Commissioner, after joining the NT Police (from the AFP) in 2011. The following speech was delivered by Commissioner Kershaw to the National Press Club on 22 July 2020. In the speech, Commissioner Kershaw outlines a new operational focus for the AFP; investing in the frontline and taking the fight offshore to outsmart serious crime.
